Update

I have now visited the Walgreens in Milton, Pace, on Nine Mile Rd and on Davis Hwy – none of them have the Icy Hot Naturals ($0.99 register reward) or the Ritz Crackerfuls ($2 register reward).

I noticed in a couple of the stores, a sign was posted stating that the Crackerfuls were not being shipped as expected and customers could purchase other items in their stead. I'm not sure if this replacement will get you the register reward. The only replacement item left on the shelves was Triscuits. I did not buy the Triscuits as I do not like them and I refuse to turn into one of those couponers that buys stuff just because I can.

Good Hair Day

Did a little hair and skin care stocking this week. I was hoping to get free Icy Hot Naturals and super cheap Ritz Crackerfuls with Walgreens register rewards, but alas, the shelves were empty.

Where my girls at?

I made a JCPenney run on my lunch break today because they have my favorite brand of bras on sale - buy 2, get 2 free (Maidenform – ladies, they make my boobies look better than any Victoria’s Secret bra I’ve ever owned, are half the price of VS and do not wear out as quickly). Upon entering the store, I became distracted by the clearance rack, as I am wont to do. I ended up purchasing 2 bras and 1 chemise from the clearance rack for $39.46. Had I paid original prices, I would have spent $97. (Had I gone with the B2G2 sale, I would have spent $70. I really wasn’t in the mood to spend $70 on underthings.)

Total Savings: $57.54 or slightly over 59%.

Note to those of you wondering who I’ll be wearing the chemise for (and I know exactly who you are): Me. I’ll be wearing it for me. I live in Florida and like to keep my AC bill just shy of one trillion dollars. It’s hot here, yo.

Memorial Day

With an uncertain employment future, I restricted myself from unnecessary spending, such as buying clothes. I let myself off restriction for a couple of great Memorial Day sales. One of those sales is at Bealls. They are offering an extra 50% off of clearance items! Hurry – sale ends tomorrow!

I picked a dress, a pair of Dockers, a pair of jeans, an Izod polo shirt and a simple brown shirt with satin collar.

Original prices: $221
Sale Prices: $79
Extra 50% off: $38
Total Savings: $183 or slightly over 82%
