Update and a random bird

First, don't forget to enter the contest! Entries must be in by July 31 at midnight.

Second, a little follow-up on yesterday's post. I tried the Nuance Makeup Remover that I rambled incessantly about. It's pretty great! A few gentle swipes and my hot tranny mess lashes that I love so dearly were clean as a whistle. I forgot to try the moisturizer (yeah, my face is gonna fall off). I did remember the Age Renewal Anti-Oxidant Day Lotion this morning. It goes on like sunscreen. I kinda hate it so far - just feels too heavy. I'll keep using it and see if it works like a miracle on my skin. If it does, I'll deal with the heavy. If not, I'll give Sally's (Salma's) creams and serums a try since I love her makeup remover so much.

No post-related photo today. I have been thinking a lot about guineas lately though.

  1. A list for you:
    1) I love hot tranny lashes! Sometimes I forget to clean mine off after a long night out. Don't do that, I always end up loosing a few by the next morning. I might look into this Nuance thing now!

2)I am in love with all those ridiculously priced Olay creams. You know those little itty bitty tubes/bottles that come in fancy packaging for $20-$40 at any store. Yeah, those. But I only get them on my birthday from my parents. I have found that store brand (CVS) night cream & Target Up&Up night cream ($10-$13) works just as good, and it makes my skin feel so nice and moisturized. It's thicker than most moisturizers, but it's not oily feeling at all.

    3) I don't really know if moisturizing works, but I like how cool lotion feels on my face after a long hot summer day (put it in the fridge if you like this too!). My face hasn't fallen off yet, but then again, your sooo much older than me. I'll wait to see if you shed yours soon.

4)I have never ever thought about a guinea before, and I find it interesting that you have been thinking about them A LOT, which makes me believe that you think about them on a regular basis. Not weird, just kinda interesting. I had to google them to find out about them and now I understand. You should train one to sit on your finger like a parakeet (google says you can!). Plus, their little hats are pretty freaking cute.

4)Do I win a prize for longest comment to date? No? Darn.

  2. Apparently I do not know how to count to 5. I'll use my fingers next time.

  3. 1) I love your list! It made me lol.

    2) Those creams...I know! It makes me feel fancy to use night cream. But why? I might give some of the Up&Up a try since I think Target can do no wrong.

    3) I love putting creams and aloes and such in the fridge. And then making noises while I apply them cause they're so cold.

    4) I have been thinking about guineas on a regular basis. And worms. And the movie "The Beach". I don't know what any of this means. Maybe that my face is going to fall off soon?

    5) Holy crap! I didn't know guineas could sit on your finger. They're so much bigger than parakeets! I'm going to think about them even more now.

    6) You totally win a prize. Something kooky and handmade. And if you give it away in a lil' paper bag at practice, I will cry.

  4. I cry for the Guineas with such fine coffed hats. They do not need to sit on fingers! A bird with a hat so fine should not be forced to sit on fingers, YOU should sit and watch the Guinea do whatever the Guinea wants to do! ♥ Mom-o-saurus
