Shake Your Money Maker at CVS

Dirty mouth? Don't chew gum, that's dumb. Brush your teeth and brush 'em with toothpaste that CVS paid you to take home. This week CVS has Colgate Total Advanced Toothpaste for $2.79 with a $2ECB. Combine this with a $1.00 coupon from the 6/12/11 SmartSource and you make 21 cents!

Don't know what ECBs are? Check out "Fillers, RRs, ECBs...huh?" on your right, under "Good to Know".

  1. Heck yeah! I maxed out on these yesterday!

However, I did NOT apply for a CVS Extra Care card for my entire imaginary family (All 37 of them - I can't wait to get free cake at Publix!). Although some couponers may believe this is totally legal, its not a road I will consciously walk down. If my imaginary family actually held onto their cards and used them themselves, then it might be different. I guess I'll have to wait to get my 400th free tube of toothpaste another week.

Oh also...for those who have smartphones and plan to use the Key Ring app: Your phone will NOT fit under the Coupon Scanner machine. It's a good thing I brought my little keychain tags as backup!

  2. DONE! It was so much fun making money off these. Too bad they limit you to two tubes. I went totally crazy in the Gulf Breeze CVS this morning. They actually have the Hawaiian Tropic lip balm that you can use towards the $10RR. In fact, their store was amazingly well stocked. It might become my CVS of choice since I work in Gulf Breeze. People clean out the Milton and Pace CVS stores before I can get there!
